Velveeta, Marianina and their dancer comrades take to their soapbox outside Deja Vu Showgirls Hollywood to promote worker rights, the solidarity economy, and wh0re liberation.

These episodes are live streamed via TikTok, on the streets of Hollywood.  Velveeta and Marianina encourage each other to speak their minds and even hear from people passing by on the street.

Workers have the right to define dignity for themselves, not politicians, police, or moral panic. If labor deserves rights, respect, and agency, then sex work should not be treated as the exception.
Velveeta explores French sex work policy, the Nordic Model, and competing ideas of consent under capitalism while making the case that organizing workers is a better response than criminalization. From worker co-ops to hotel housekeepers, the conversation connects labor movements across industries before turning to porn, patriarchy, bodily autonomy, and the cultural stigma surrounding women who own their sexuality. The episode closes with a call for bottom-up change rooted in solidarity rather than prohibition, and an invitation to imagine dignity on workers’ own terms.

Whore liberation takes center stage as Velveeta and Marianina return to Hollywood Boulevard, turning the sidewalk into a soapbox for sex worker rights, labor organizing, and collective action. Fired from Deja Vu after attempting to unionize, they challenge whorephobia, celebrate Belgium’s labor protections for sex workers, and argue that liberation begins by standing together against exploitation.
From retaliation claims to employee misclassification, the hosts unpack what California workers should know about organizing, whistleblower protections, AB5, and why strippers are employees under the law. They share their own legal battles, explain how clubs manipulate dancers’ understanding of workplace rights, and encourage sex workers to assert the protections already available to them. Along the way, they discuss wage theft, workers compensation, and police stings targeting dancers, insisting that bosses profit from stigma while workers generate the wealth. Stay weird, Hollywood. Stay sexy.

America’s 250th birthday sets the stage for a conversation about freedom, labor, and who has actually benefited from the country’s founding. Velveeta opens with reflections on sex worker rights, capitalism, and the revolutionary potential of whore liberation before Marianina joins the discussion from Hollywood Boulevard, where the hosts invite passersby into the conversation.
The discussion moves from the Founding Fathers to slavery, democracy, and the contradictions at the heart of the American project. Drawing on Thomas Paine, Common Sense, and Scenes of Subjection, the hosts question patriotic myths while exploring what real freedom could look like for workers and marginalized communities. A history professor joins the soapbox to discuss social progress, public struggle, and the role of artists in social movements. The episode closes with a live performance calling for liberation across borders and solidarity against colonialism.

Outside Deja Vu Showgirls Hollywood, former dancer and union organizer Velveeta turns the sidewalk into a public square for Stilettobox. After dedicating the show to her late friend Guillermo and reflecting on the risks faced by undocumented workers, she shares some anarchist labor history and breaks down the stubborn power of workers who refuse to stay quiet.
Labor attorney Jordan Palmer joins to connect the lessons of Labor Notes to the fight for stripper rights. As legal director for Strippers United and an attorney with UNITE HERE Local 11, Jordan explains why workers do not need government recognition to act like a union. Together, they unpack open-join unions, mutual aid, retaliation protections, and tactics such as marching on the boss. Naturally, the revolution ends with the classic labor song, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5.

The episode opens with an explicit comedic monologue, then introduces Stilettobox on the YAS Network, hosted by former Deja Vu Hollywood dancers Velveeta and Marianina, who say they were fired for organizing a union and now soapbox on Hollywood Boulevard about exploitation in stripping, sex worker oppression, and collective organizing. They discuss social media censorship and repeated Instagram bans of their stripper worker co-op, and contrast commerce with capitalism, arguing sex work is an essential service providing intimacy and emotional support. Marianina promotes co-ops and anti-capitalism, and Velveeta advocates ranked-choice and compulsory voting, criticizing local and state electoral outcomes and police funding.

Green Party member Trina joins to describe Green Party policies supporting decriminalizing sex work and including sex work in labor rights, plus decentralized organizing and eco-socialism. The stream includes street debates about consent and objectification, ends with “Bella Ciao,” and notes TikTok visibility restrictions before signing off.
